Constructed from highly durable, UV-resistant, high-density polyethylene, the rounded design optimizes the filter's strength, making it suitable for installation in freeze-thaw environments. The Signature Series 400 Pond Skimmer accommodates pump flow rates of up to 4,000 gallons per hour and includes a 6-inch wide weir. Its innovative locking weir door can be temporarily closed and secured to drain the skimmer for maintenance. A natural-looking faux rock lid is included to effectively hide the filter while safeguarding the pump and internal components. Two bulkhead ports with injection-molded fittings allow the check valve to be directly threaded into the skimmer wall, ensuring a professional watertight seal at the back of the filter.
